Raquel is the key to having a stress free college process. Raquel helped bring structure, organization, and clarity to the otherwise overwhelming and stressful college process. Raquel helped me find the schools that I wanted and made sure that I gave myself the best chances of getting in. Raquel kept me on top of my deadlines and helped me stay focused and motivated throughout the college process. Without her help and guidance I’m not sure I would have gotten everything in on time. Her patience and assistance in helping me develop and finalize my college essays and supplements was lifesaving!

Raquel was able to guide me through the college process in a clear and stress free manner. From the beginning, Raquel supported my aspirations and worked with me through every single step. There was never a moment where I felt underprepared or stressed out. Whether it was writing supplements, or filling out the FAFSA, she was there to assist me and make sure I felt confident with anything I was submitting. Raquel helped me find my own strengths and highlight them in my writing. Tufts University has been my dream school, and with Raquel’s guidance, I achieved it. Raquel helped me find opportunities to strengthen my application and I couldn’t have done any of it without her!

The process of finding the right college, best financial packages and fit for your child is hard enough. If you can imagine having to do it for 2 children, with totally different wants and needs and running for Brooklyn Borough President, is nearly impossible. I am grateful that I had Advantage U. with guiding my son and daughter through the college process. Raquel took all of the anxiety off my shoulders and allowed me to concentrate on my campaign. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I really appreciate all the help and guidance I got from my junior year until now. Everyone I met that guided me and gave me the best advice really helped me that much more in my college career. I wish everyone the best and hope more students get to experience the same things I did on their college journey as well.

I appreciate the support I was given, especially at the beginning. My mentor and I worked closely together on my essays over the summer which made senior year much easier as I was done with all of my supplements by the end of September.

As a parent, this program was an essential way to keep my son on track through the college process on deliverables. Additionally, since I am Canadian and new to this process, it reduced my anxiety about what needed to be done, and it also reduced the negative interactions between myself and my son because the program, and especially, Raquel, held my son accountable for his deliverables. Raquel was an exceptional partner and counselor in the process for both of us. I also want to commend the first college guidance counselor that Isaiah was paired with because he not only liked her, but she also gave him the perfect amount of support and confidence on developing his college essay.
