What to do with your slightly extended summer vacation (NYC public high school students)? Get a jump on your college essays this summer at our 3-Day College Essay Excelerator for rising high school juniors (Class of 2027).

Over three days, students work one-on-one and in small groups with an experienced writing coach to brainstorm strong topic ideas, build a clear writing plan, and complete a polished draft ready for Fall 2026 college applications.

Our small-group format provides individualized feedback, peer perspective, and practical writing strategies to strengthen voice, structure, and content. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining an idea, you’ll leave the retreat with a completed draft, confident in your direction, and an actionable revision roadmap.

This is an in-person activity at St. Francis College located in Downtown Brooklyn.
